From Rachel's Kitchen: Fresh Watermelon Juice

fresh watermelon juice

Have you ever made fresh squeezed watermelon juice? It's a little more time consuming than just juicing an orange or lemon, but it tastes so refreshing and it's worth the extra steps :) When watermelon is in season, its practically begging to be juiced! It's a good alternative to a cocktail and the perfect summer drink, especially for the 4th of July! Read below on how to make some for yourself!

Steps to Making Watermelon Juice
1. Dice a small watermelon into cubes
2. In a food processor or blender, puree the watermelon until it's a juice-like consistency. You want it to be thin enough to strain through a strainer, so blend for a while ;) You can also use a spoon to help push the juice through the strainer.
3. Strain the juice into a bowl and pour into ice-filled glasses
4. Enjoy!!
