Pumpkin Ale, MY [100th] Blog Entry !!!

This blog post marks my 100th blog entry!
*
To my 2.4 million subscribers for their loyalty and dedication
to reading,
THANK YOU! :)
*
Fall is just around the corner.
Looking for a good beer to get into the season?
*
Try
*Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale *
I dont have anything to compare it to since this
was my 1st pumpkin beer purchase of the season,
but I thought it was pretty good [!]
Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale is our homage to the craft and heritage of America’s brewers. Recipes calling for the use of pumpkins in beer date back to early colonial times, when brewers sought to extend their supply of costly imported malt with locally grown ingredients, such as squash and “pompions.”
* In that spirit, we brew our ale with the addition of pumpkin to the mash, along with traditional spices to create a delicious American original. Available in sixpacks and on draft from mid-August through October.

And I was obviously joking about that many subscribers,
but seriously thank you to all who stop in often to read
(even if you are just bored at work!)
I encourage you to post your thoughts/comments/suggestions.
I would love to hear from whoever is reading.
Luv
Rach

  1. Blue point just came out with a pumpkin spice NEW this year. I wasn't a big fan but I did like Smuttys version. Dogfish also puts out a good one.

What's all this blog stuff about? I'm not familiar. LOL

  2. the smutty nose trumps the bluepoint ale by a wide margin, but the dogfish head pumpkin spice ale literally tastes like pumpkin pie... mmmmm
