Welcome to the glorious month of October,
maybe my favorite month of the year for several reasons.
For one, I love Fall and everything about it.
This is the first official month that feels like it,
so October welcomes in the cooler weather, baking,
and lots of Fall festivities.
Secondly, much better hair days are ahead
and what's not to love about that?
It's sweater and knee high boot weather,
so you can easily get away with showing less skin
by having great hair.
And so, once again we find
ourselves friends with our blowdryers.
Lastly, we get to take out and debut smoky eye palettes
(like the one below),
moisturize extra well to keep that skin smooth
during drier months
(check out the body soufflé from Laura Mercier),
smell like baked goods
(any excuse to lather in almonds & cream!)
and rock darker nail shades
like 'Wicked' by Essie and 'Cleopatra of New York'
by Deborah Lippman.
