the perfect party Sangria!

John and I recently enjoyed lunch outside at Barrique on a warm Saturday afternoon. If you haven't been there yet, you need to go - the food is delicious.
find Barrique @: http://barriquekitchenandwinebar.com/ They are all small plates, tapas style - and they have the most fabulous wine menu. I highly recommend the crab cakes (yes, I eat crab cakes now!), the watermelon salad, the braised rib, the pesto chicken and goat cheese panini, and any of their homemade thin crust pizzas. Their cheese platters also go fabulous with a glass of wine - I recommend the manchego, the fresh mozzerella, or the parmesan reggiano - the platter also comes with Spanish almonds, warm honey, a few slices of crusty baguette, and dried apricots. Mmm! Anyways- we tried the red Sangria and it was absolutely amazing. We wish we could have sat through another round, but we wanted to catch the Yankee game :)
